Our Journey: How $100 a Month Became a Lifeline for the Community

In 2008, The REACH Center was born from a simple but powerful idea, helping neighbors in need. With just $100 a month, we started by offering rent and utility assistance to struggling families. It wasn’t much, but it brought hope and stability one family at a time. 

What began as small-scale help quickly grew. Today, The REACH Center is a vital resource hub with four service pillars: Workforce Development, Economic Equity & Small Business Support, Housing Stability & Development, and Community Nourishment & Wellness. 

Our mission remains meeting people where they are and empowering them to move forward with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
