Social Welfare

Social welfare is a social institution to provide support, usually financial, in the time of need. These needs are basic needs that everyone should have access to such as food, shelter, and medication. As a faith-based organization, we are committed to helping support our community in these areas. The REACH Center is assisting with the social welfare issues within the community through the various programs: Food Security, Homelessness Prevention (rent and utility assistance, hotel for fire victims), Prescription Medication and Clothing Assistance, Personal Care (shower and washer/dryer availability, hygiene kits).

Economic Sustainability

Our Economic Sustainability programs focus on eliminating barriers to financial stability while encouraging self-sufficiency and social responsibility. Individuals are assisted with career and/or educational counseling, financial stewardship, and employment support. Programs under this focus area include: Pathway to Purpose, Faith and Finances, The Total Money Makeover, and New Worker Support.

Family Violence Prevention

Family Violence Prevention programs exist to help break the cycle of violence in our communities and promote healthy families by raising awareness around such issues as domestic violence and human trafficking. Individuals effected by acts of violence are provided support through connection to our other programs and resource referrals. Programs also include trainings on Domestic Violence Awareness, Human Trafficking in Healthcare, Human Trafficking in the Faith Community, Social Media Safety for Teens

REACH Cares

We are excited to partner with a local bakery to help feed families in the community. Individuals can stop by on Thursdays between 12PM-4PM to pick up baked goods while supplies last. Products will vary.
